Riverdi IoT Display project – Access Control System with Speaker Verification
The Riverdi team has just published a new demo, and it looks like the embedded community is really loving it. It’s on Hackster, on DesignSpark, everyone is talking about it.
Do you want to know what it’s about?
They have made an access control system with speaker verification, by using our IoT display module, Zerynth Studio, and Fortebit’s EasyVR 3 Plus.
Check out the video, if you want to see how the whole project looks like:
Two-factor authentication with speaker verification
Essentially, the Riverdi team has created a demo that teaches you how to implement two-factor authentication to Riverdi displays, with the second factor being speaker verification, thanks to innovative technology from Sensory. This is the first project of this kind.
As you can see from the video it’s a room access control system, that uses two-factor authentication – by entering a PIN code and speaking an individual access password.
The interaction with the user system is carried out using a graphical user interface presented on the Riverdi IoT display module and through audio messages generated by the EasyVR 3 Plus module.
